I have lived in Hucclecote since 2002, moving from Cornwall after my husband became Editor of the Citizen newspaper.
We have four children and five grandchildren all living in different parts of the country which means I do a lot of travelling.  The children are aged between 8 and 4, all at school or nursery, and it is most important to me that I see them regularly.

Before Cornwall I lived in London working in Canary Wharf for the London office of the Birmingham Post & Mail (owned by Trinity Mirror).
I was with the paper for over 20 years editing the 8 page Post People suppledment and working with the news/picture desks in a very busy newsroom.
Since leaving work, I have written a variety of children's books, novels and scripts for TV animation and a book for charity for the Spring Centre, in Gloucester.
I became a Parish Councillor in July 2007 and have a very keen interest in Hucclecote and its people.
