Tewkesbury Borough Council can now accept more items for recycling in the blue bin collection service. The Council is expanding the list of materials collected at the kerbside in the blue bin to include: Plastic pots, tubs, trays, punnets (e.g yoghurt pots, fruit punnets, meat trays, margarine tubs etc). Paper based food and drinks cartons like Tetra-Pak (e.g juice, milk). Paper back books (and hardback if the cover is removed). Wrapping paper (no foil/plastic varieties and all ribbons/bows must be removed). All materials must be rinsed clean of any food or drink residue. More information on the new materials can be found in the blue bin & FAQ section at: www.tewkesbury.gov.uk/recycling
